Buffalo Horn Mug Set – Set of 4
Four handcrafted mugs made of genuine buffalo horn, each engraved with its own Nordic symbol: Valknut, Yggdrasil, Vegvísir and Fenrir. A natural material, so every piece is one of a kind in colour and grain. For mead, schnapps or as a showpiece on the shelf.

Buffalo Horn Mug Set – Set of 4 – the story behind it.
Good to know.
Which symbols are engraved on the four mugs?
Each mug bears its own Nordic sign: the Valknut (Odin's knot of the fallen warriors), the World Tree Yggdrasil, the rune compass Vegvísir and the wolf Fenrir, each hand-engraved.
What material are the mugs made of, and is each one unique?
The mugs are made of genuine buffalo horn, a purely natural material. That makes every piece unique: colour and grain vary from light to dark, and no two mugs are exactly alike.
How do I care for the horn mugs properly?
Horn is a natural product: please clean by hand only with lukewarm water and mild dish soap, do not put in the dishwasher or microwave, and do not fill with boiling drinks. Occasionally rubbing with a little cooking oil keeps the horn supple.
What can I use the mugs for?
Ideal for mead, beer, cold drinks or a schnapps, at a Viking feast, by the campfire or at the medieval market. They look just as good as a decorative set on the shelf.
More Viking style.
